How to use, access, and generate recovery codes.
Recovery codes are one-time use passcodes that can be used instead of a unique code generated by your password authentication app to log in to your OpenEnvoy account. They come in handy when you forget or lose your phone.
When you register for OpenEnvoy you're prompted to download, print, or copy your recovery codes. It's important that you save them in a safe and secure location that only you can access.
You can also view and generate recovery codes within your account by clicking Username > Security > View Recovery Codes. Please note, if you decide to generate new recovery codes your old codes will no longer work. After generating, replace your previous codes with the new ones and store them in a secure location that only you can access.
